Atara Eis is an Associate Dean at Nishmat, the Jeanie Schottenstein Center for Advanced Torah Studies for Women. She directs Nishmat’s Miriam Glaubach Center and the U.S. Yoatzot Halacha Fellows Program. She is passionate about making sure every woman has a dignified experience in asking any question relating to reproductive health and Jewish law, and about making sure qualified women around the world have the opportunity to study deeply and become Yoatzot Halacha. She is a Nishmat/Gefen Fertility Counselor. In 2022, she received certification as a Nishmat-Sharsheret Educator as well, having completed Nishmat and Sharsheret’s course in breast and ovarian cancers for the observant Jewish woman.

Mrs Pesha Fischer has been teaching Halacha & Tanach to students of all ages for the last 18 years. She has also created an after school science program for elementary age children in Modiin. For the last 11 years she has been teaching students in gap year programs in Israel & teaching bridal classes both in Israel and abroad. She currently teaches at Midreshet Amit & Machon Maayan. Prior to her aliyah, Pesha worked as a Campus Torah Educator at the University of Maryland & was Judaic studies coordinator at Yavneh Academy of Dallas. Pesha has studied at Midreshet Lindenbaum & Matan & received a Masters degree in education from Yeshiva University.

Tova was the director of the Midrasha – Institute for Advanced Torah Studies at Bar-Ilan University and is a certified women’s halakhic advisor (yo’etzet halakha). Her work is widely published, and she is the recipient of numerous academic awards. She lives in Jerusalem with her husband and family.

Tehila Gimpel holds Bachelor’s degrees in both Jewish Philosophy and Law, and a Master’s degree in Jewish Law. In addition to practicing as an attorney Israel, she is pursuing her doctorate in Jewish Law at the Hebrew University and has received numerous awards for her research in Talmudic Law. Tehila lives with her husband Jeremy on the Arugot Farm, where they raise their six adorable children. Together they have established a center for Torah study, agriculture and love of the Land of Israel.

Rav Yamin Goldsmith is the Director/Rosh Midrasha of Sha’alvim for Women, in Yerushalayim. He attended Yeshivat Sha’alvim for two years before serving in the I.D.F with the Yeshivat Shaalvim Hesder Machal program. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Yeshiva University, a master’s degree in public administration from Columbia University, & was ordained at the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary of Yeshiva University. He has worked in both formal & informal Jewish education in the United States & in Israel for more than 30 years and is well known and respected for his warm & engaging personality. He is also known for his popular “FiveMinuteTorah” series of divrei Torah.

Rabbi Yehoshua Grunstein received rabbinic ordination from the Chief Rabbinate of Israel & holds a BA in Education from Herzog College. Formerly the Rabbi of the Beth Israel Synagogue in Halifax, Canada, & formerly Director of Training & Placement at the Straus-Amiel Institute of Ohr Torah Stone, Rabbi Grunstein serves as Director of Development of North America at Tzohar, & is part of the founding faculty of the English speaking Kollel of Efrat. Before making Aliyah in 2007, she was a teacher & the director of Israel guidance at Hillel Yeshiva High School in Deal, NJ. She also previously served as an educational coordinator & researcher for the Agency for Jewish Education & the Jewish Federation of Detroit. Mrs. Hochhauser is originally from New Jersey has a BA in English Literature & MA in Jewish Education from Yeshiva University.

Gil Hoffman

Gil Hoffman is the executive director of HonestReporting, which fights for Israel in the international mainstream and social media; a lecturer on political strategy at Israel’s College of Management and served as chief political correspondent and analyst for The Jerusalem Post for 24 years. The Algemeiner website recently named him one of the top 100 people positively influencing Jewish life, alongside presidents Biden and Zelensky and prime ministers Sunak and Netanyahu.

He was raised in Chicago, graduated Magna Cum Laude from Northwestern University’s School of Journalism, and wrote for the Miami Herald and Arizona Republic before moving to Israel.

A reserve soldier in the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit, he has lectured in every major English-speaking country in the world, more than half the Canadian provinces, and recently made history in Hawaii by becoming the first speaker to have lectured about Israel in all 50 US states. He lives with his family in Jerusalem.

Rabbi Jesse Horn is a Senior Ram (Rosh Metivta) at Yeshivat Hakotel. He is known for his methodological & Brisker approach to Gemara, his creative shiurim in Tanach, & his warm personality. In his shiurim, he motivates students to rigorously dissect texts, to ask major questions on the sugya at hand, & to intuit the interpretations offered by the Rishonim. Rabbi Horn also teaches at MMY & has taught in other seminaries, such as Shalvim for Women & Midreshet HaRova. Rabbi Horn is the author of Double Take, a book about Biblical personalities, as well as numerous other articles for Beis Yitzhak, Arutz Sheva, World Mizrachi, & other scholarly publications. Rabbi Horn earned a B.A. in Judaic Studies & an M.A. in Jewish Education from Yeshiva University. He received his ordination from Yeshiva University/RIETS.

Born & raised in London, Rabbi Israel moved to Israel in 1991 & gained rabbinic ordination from the Israeli Chief Rabbinate following several years of study at Yeshivat Har Etzion & holds degrees from London School of Economics, the Institute of Education, London, & Bar Ilan University. His first book “I Kings – Torn in Two” was published in 2013. Rabbi Israel has lectured widely at campuses & communities on five continents.

Ari Kahn, a rabbi, author, and educator, lives in Givat Ze’ev, Israel. Rabbi Kahn received his rabbinic ordination from Yeshiva University’s Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary, where he studied with Rabbi Yosef Dov Soloveitchik & Rabbi Aharon Lichtenstein. He graduated from Yeshiva University with a BA in Psychology & an MS in Talmud. Rabbi Kahn is Director of Foreign Student Programs at Bar-Ilan University in Israel, where he is a Senior Lecturer in Jewish Studies. He also serves as Rabbi of the Mishkan Etrog community in Givat Ze’ev. He has authored ten books on Jewish thought, including the highly acclaimed “Echoes of Eden” series, & has published hundreds of articles on Torah and Jewish thought. He is a member of the Vaad Rabbanie Zaka.

Rabbi David Katz is the Director of Michlelet Mevaseret Yerushalayim (MMY) & has been with MMY since its inception 23 years ago. He studied at Yeshiva University in New York & Yeshivat Torat Moshe in Jerusalem. Rabbi Katz is an extremely popular teacher – in particular his classes on the Halachik process & contemporary Israeli society – & has lectured extensively not only in seminary, but with teenagers & adults alike in communities & summer camps throughout the United States, the United Kingdom, South Africa and Australia. Rav Avi Kay

Avi Kay, after receiving Semicha, went on to get a BCom in Economics and Finance and then qualified as a CFP. Avi runs a financial planning practice in South Africa and is the host of the “Avi on Money Show”for the past 11 years on Chai FM. Avi and his wife Devorah made Aliyah in December 2020, and live in Modi’in.

Avi has a passion for Jewish history and the state of Israel. After the murder of their son Eli HY”D, in November 2021, Avi has spoken extensively to various groups both in and out of Israel, on the topic of Eretz Yisrael, the Jewish people, and Eli’s legacy as a passionate Zionist and Jew.

Since Eli’s death, Avi has become a guide at the kotel , assisting people of all walks of life to appreciate the holiness of our Jewish heritage.
Avi is an avid runner and cyclist, and spends time exploring the hills around his home town of Modi’in.

Devorah Kay has been involved in both formal and informal education for the past 27 years. She has taught in Jewish day schools in South Africa, with her main focus being on Chumash and Nach. In addition, Devorah has worked in adult education. Devorah and her husband Avi made Aliyah in December 2020. Since the terrorist attack in November 2021, that claimed the life of their son Eli, Devorah has spoken on topics of hope, positivity and the choices we make, to communities around the world.

Rav Joel Kenigsberg

Rav Joel Kenigsberg is the Rabbi of Beit Knesset Hanassi in Rechavia, Jerusalem. He previously served as shaliach of Mizrachi UK in Hendon where he was the Rabbi of Magen Avot and Rav Shaliach of Bnei Akiva UK. Rav Kenigsberg grew up in Johannesburg before making Aliyah after high school. He studied at Yeshivat HaKotel as part of the Hesder program of joint Yeshiva study and IDF service, and was then a member of the founding cohort of Manhigut Toranit – a five-year post-Semicha program at Eretz Hemdah developing Rabbinic leadership for communities around the world.
Rav Kenigsberg has a B.Ed from Lifshitz College of Education and a Master’s degree in Science and Halacha from Bar-Ilan University, both of which he completed with distinction. He takes a special interest in the interface between Halacha and the modern world and has written and presented extensively on this topic, including at the conference of European Rabbis and at other global forums. He is also a co-author of the English edition of the acclaimed Tzurba m’Rabanan series.

Rabbi Shlomo Kimche was born in London, & in 1969 made Aliyah with his family to Haifa. After completing Yeshiva High School at Kibbutz Shalvim & Yeshivat Hesder Bnei Akiva HaKotel, Rabbi Kimche served during the first Lebanon War (1982) in a tanks division. In 1984, upon completion of his studies & active army service, Rabbi Kimche went on to attend the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, where he earned degrees in Educational Management & Philosophy.

He worked in the Jewish Agency’s Youth & Hechalutz Dept. as Director of Shabbat Programs for English speaking youth groups visiting Israel. In 1987 Rabbi Kimche went to Kollel to do his Semicha & Senior Education Diploma at Yeshivat Shalvim, where he also ran the Overseas Program. In 1990 he went on a three-year Shlichut & served as College Rabbi in Mount Scopus College in Melbourne, Australia, one of the largest Jewish Day Schools in the world.

Rabbi Menachem Leibtag, founder of the Tanach Study Center www.tanach.org, is an internationally acclaimed bible scholar & pioneer of Jewish Education on the internet. His essays on Parshat ha’Shavua reflect his vibrant thematic-analytical approach, blending the methods of modern scholarship with traditional approaches. As a faculty member at Yeshivat Har Etzion in Israel, he is best known for his ability to teach students how to study Tanach. Rabbi Leibtag also teaches at Matan, Midreshet Lindenbaum, & Yeshivat Shaalavim; & routinely lectures around the globe, primarily as a Scholar in Residence in communities in North America.

Since 2017 he has been Co-Director of Midreshet Tehillah, having moving from MMY (Michlelet Mevaseret Yerushalayim) where he was the senior rabbinic educator for many years. Rabbi Manning is also a senior lecturer at Shapell’s/Midreshet Rachel & gives a regular weekly shiur at the OU Israel Center in Jerusalem.

Rabbi David Milston is Director of the Overseas Program at Midreshet HaRova. Born & raised in London, Rabbi Milston earned a B.A. in Jewish Studies at Jews’ College where he became a talmid “muvhak” of Rabbi Isaac Bernstein zt”l. He studied for several years at Yeshivat Har Etzion under the guidance of Rav Yehuda Amital, zt”l and Rav Aharon Lichtenstein, zt”l, & received semicha from the Chief Rabbinate of Israel. Rabbi Milston has written a number of books, including “The Three Pillars” on Parashat HaShavua, “Ki Va Moed” on the Jewish calendar, and “Eternity” on the Prophets. Most recently, he published the “Shirat David” Haggadah.

Rabbi Danny Mirvis is the Deputy CEO of World Mizrachi & the Rabbi of Ohel Moshe Synagogue in Herzliya Pituach.

Dublin-born & London-raised, Rabbi Mirvis is an alumnus of the Hesder program at Yeshivat Har Etzion. In 5782, he returned to Israel following his successful tenure as the Senior Rabbi of Mizrachi Melbourne.

During his six years in Australia, he served as the co-Vice President of the Rabbinical Council of Victoria, & the co-Chair of the Rabbinic Advisory Panel of the Melbourne Chevra Kadisha Cemeteries Trust. He led the Melbourne Beth Din review of Conversion Practices & Procedures, & through his Mizrachi role he provided Rabbinic leadership to its numerous Synagogues, Leibler Yavneh College, Bnei Akiva Melbourne, Kosher Australia & the Melbourne Eruv.

Rav Doron Perez is the Executive Chairman of the Mizrachi World Movement. During his 15-year shlichut in South Africa, Rav Perez fulfilled multiple leadership roles, as Executive Director of Mizrachi South Africa, the Senior Rabbi of the Mizrachi Shul, & Head of the Yeshiva College school, the first & largest Torah school in Southern Africa. Rav Perez was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa, & made Aliyah at the age of 18. He studied for 10 years in some of Israel’s leading Yeshivot, served in the IDF as part of the Hesder program, & completed his rabbinic ordination & a Bachelor of Education majoring in Jewish Philosophy. Rav Eliyahu Silverman studied at Yeshivat Kerem B’Yavneh for seven years and at Kollel Erez Hemda for four years, as part of the Torah Leadership program. He completed his Smicha from the Chief Rabbinate of Israel and is completing his Advanced Smicha Certification (Rav Ir). During his service in the IDF he acted as a commander in the Givati brigade. With his focus also concentrating on the needs of others, he has completed a B.Ed. from Orot Israel specializing in Education and Hebrew language.

Rabbi Johnny Solomon has a BSc (Hons) in Math & Religious Studies, an MA in Jewish Education, & Semicha from the Montefiore Kollel (London), & he is a graduate of the Lookstein Fellowships for Senior Jewish Educators, the Shalom Hartman Tichon Programme for Senior Jewish Educators & the Ashdown Fellowships for Senior Jewish Educators. While in London, Johnny held numerous senior positions including Head of Judaic Studies at Immanuel College & Head of Judaic Studies at Hasmonean Girls’ School. In 2012 Rav Johnny made aliya with his family, & he divides his time between teaching Halacha & Jewish Philosophy at Midreshet Lindenbaum & Matan, editing Jewish scholarly books for Mosaica Press, serving as the Educational Director of Zehud (an online school for Jewish children in Europe), writing curricula for schools around the world, writing Torah content & working as a Virtual Rabbi providing spiritual coaching, halachic consultations & one-to-one learning to men & women around the world. Beyond this, Rav Johnny is the posek to his local shul, he is a board member of Chochmat Nashim, and his is a contributor to the RZ Weekly podcast.

Shani serves on the advisory committee for the World Mizrachi Shalhevet program for shlichim & lectures on topics of Tanach, Jewish education, Jewish law & women’s health. Together with her husband, Reuven, she serves as Educational Director for World Mizrachi and as Rosh Beit Midrash for the Beit Midrash Program in Machaneh Moshava Pennsylvania during the summer.

Rabbi Gideon Weitzman heads PUAH’s English speaking section in Israel. Born in Britain, Rabbi Weitzman earned his rabbinic ordination from the Chief Rabbinate of Israel. Rabbi Weitzman was a visiting associate principal in the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York and is a regular contributor to the annual halachic compendium Techumin. His scholarly articles on IVF, sperm extraction, & genetic counseling have been published in The Journal of Genetic Counseling and The Journal of Early Human Development. He has lectured at major organizations such as National Council of Young Israel, the Rabbinical Council of California, Agudas Yisroel of America, American Society for Reproductive Medicine, Columbia Medical Center, and Cornell Medical Center and more! Rabbi Weitzman teaches in at Midrasha College for Women, as well as other educational institutions in Jerusalem. He currently resides in Modiin where he serves as the Rabbi of the Merkaz Modiin Synagogue.
