Mrs. Karen Hochhauser is an administrator, teacher & the Director of Alumnae Affairs at Tiferet, a post high school midrasha in Ramat Beit Shemesh. Before making Aliyah in 2007, she was a teacher & the director of Israel guidance at Hillel Yeshiva High School in Deal, NJ. She also previously served as an educational coordinator & researcher for the Agency for Jewish Education & the Jewish Federation of Detroit. Mrs. Hochhauser is originally from New Jersey has a BA in English Literature & MA in Jewish Education from Yeshiva University.

Rabbi Anthony Manning teaches in many educational institutions in Jerusalem as well as lecturing widely in Israel, England and the US. Since 2017 he has been Co-Director of Midreshet Tehillah, having moving from MMY (Michlelet Mevaseret Yerushalayim) where he was the senior rabbinic educator for many years. Rabbi Manning is also a senior lecturer at Shapell’s/Midreshet Rachel & gives a regular weekly shiur at the OU Israel Center in Jerusalem.

Rabbi Doron Chitiz is the gap-year educator for Ematai. He is a dynamic Jewish educator, speaker, and musician with deep experience teaching Torah, Hebrew, and Jewish thought across Israel and the Diaspora. A graduate of Yeshivat Har Etzion and the Herzog College, he combines rich Torah learning with a warm, engaging presence and previously served as the Mizrachi South Africa Shaliach in Johannesburg.

Rabbanit Rachelle Sprecher Fraenkel teaches Halacha at Nishmat, where she also serves as a Yoetzet Responder on Nishmat’s Golda Koschitzky Women’s Halachic Hotline. She is also the director of Matan’s Hilkhata (Advanced Halacha) Program. Rabbanit Rachelle studied at Bar Ilan University, Midreshet Lindenbaum, and Nishmat’s Keren Ariel Yoatzot Halacha Training Program, and was in the first graduating class of Matan’s Talmudic Institute. Recognized as one of Israel’s most inspiring women, Rabbanit Rachelle speaks on behalf of Jewish unity before audiences across the Jewish world. She is a co-founder of The Jerusalem Unity Prize and Unity Day project, in memory of her 16 year-old son, Naftali הי”ד, who was kidnapped and murdered by Palestinian terrorists in June, 2014.

Rav Doron Perez is the Executive Chairman of the Mizrachi World Movement. During his 15-year shlichut in South Africa, Rav Perez fulfilled multiple leadership roles, as Executive Director of Mizrachi South Africa, the Senior Rabbi of the Mizrachi Shul, & Head of the Yeshiva College school, the first & largest Torah school in Southern Africa. Rav Perez was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa, & made Aliyah at the age of 18. He studied for 10 years in some of Israel’s leading Yeshivot, served in the IDF as part of the Hesder program, & completed his rabbinic ordination & a Bachelor of Education majoring in Jewish Philosophy. Rav Taragin has completed a B.A. in Science & Philosophy at Yeshiva University & an M.A. in Jewish History & Education at Touro College (Israel). Rav Taragin is the Rav of Kehillat Eretz Chemdah in Katamon & was the founder & director of the Yeshivat Hakotel Community Education Conferences.

Shani Taragin is the educational director of Matan-Bellows Eshkolot Tanakh teachers’ professional development program & Mizrachi-MTVA Lapidot teachers of Torah shebe’al-peh. Shani serves on the advisory committee for the World Mizrachi Shalhevet program for shlichim & lectures on topics of Tanach, Jewish education, Jewish law & women’s health. Together with her husband, Reuven, she serves as Educational Director for World Mizrachi and as Rosh Beit Midrash for the Beit Midrash Program in Machaneh Moshava Pennsylvania during the summer.

Rabbanit Noa Lewis is the founder and CEO of Echad, as well as the Female Director and Coordinator of the IDF Chevra Kadisha.

Rabbi Danny Mirvis is the CEO of World Mizrachi & the Rabbi of Ohel Moshe Synagogue in Herzliya Pituach.

Dublin-born & London-raised, Rabbi Mirvis is an alumnus of the Hesder program at Yeshivat Har Etzion. In 5782, he returned to Israel following his successful tenure as the Senior Rabbi of Mizrachi Melbourne.

During his six years in Australia, he served as the co-Vice President of the Rabbinical Council of Victoria, & the co-Chair of the Rabbinic Advisory Panel of the Melbourne Chevra Kadisha Cemeteries Trust. He led the Melbourne Beth Din review of Conversion Practices & Procedures, & through his Mizrachi role he provided Rabbinic leadership to its numerous Synagogues, Leibler Yavneh College, Bnei Akiva Melbourne, Kosher Australia & the Melbourne Eruv.

Rav Binyamin Zimmerman is an author and innovative Jewish educator who serves as the director of a number of educational organizations. He serves as director of Mizrachi Musmachim, a new state of the art semicha program for English speakers in Israel, is Educational Director of the Zomet Institute (Tzomet) of Halakha and Technology, Co-Director of Matan-Mizrachi’s Advanced Women’s Learning Program and founder and director of H.E.S.B.E.R. (hesber.org), an organization dedicated to producing powerful educational materials for students and communities. He is author of H.E.S.B.E.R.’s “From the Source; with Spirit” series of educational books which are used by more than 50 schools throughout the English-speaking Jewish world.

His background in Halakha and Technology, the interface of Israel, Judaism and modernity, and Contemporary Educational techniques for students of all ages have made him a sought out lecturer for schools, teacher-training seminars, and communities throughout the world.

Rabbi Alex Israel teaches at Yeshivat Eretz Hatzvi and Midreshet Lindenbaum. Born & raised in London, Rabbi Israel moved to Israel in 1991 & gained rabbinic ordination from the Israeli Chief Rabbinate following several years of study at Yeshivat Har Etzion & holds degrees from London School of Economics, the Institute of Education, London, & Bar Ilan University. His first book “I Kings – Torn in Two” was published in 2013. Rabbi Israel has lectured widely at campuses & communities on five continents.

Rabbi Menachem Leibtag, founder of the Tanach Study Center www.tanach.org, is an internationally acclaimed bible scholar & pioneer of Jewish Education on the internet. His essays on Parshat ha’Shavua reflect his vibrant thematic-analytical approach, blending the methods of modern scholarship with traditional approaches. As a faculty member at Yeshivat Har Etzion in Israel, he is best known for his ability to teach students how to study Tanach. Rabbi Leibtag also teaches at Matan, Midreshet Lindenbaum, & Yeshivat Shaalavim; & routinely lectures around the globe, primarily as a Scholar in Residence in communities in North America.

Mrs Pesha Fischer has been teaching Halacha & Tanach to students of all ages for the last 18 years. She has also created an after school science program for elementary age children in Modiin. For the last 11 years she has been teaching students in gap year programs in Israel & teaching bridal classes both in Israel and abroad. She currently teaches at Midreshet Amit & Machon Maayan. Prior to her aliyah, Pesha worked as a Campus Torah Educator at the University of Maryland & was Judaic studies coordinator at Yavneh Academy of Dallas. Pesha has studied at Midreshet Lindenbaum & Matan & received a Masters degree in education from Yeshiva University.

Rav Bentzi Mann is the Director of Mizrachi’s Schools Department. Rav Bentzi was born and raised in Israel to olim from the USA. He is an alumnus of Yeshivat Kerem B’Yavneh Hesder program and the Chai Roi Leadership Institute at Bnei David Eli, received his B.Ed with the highest honor from Orot Yisrael, and holds an MBA from Hebrew University. In 5782, he returned to Israel following a successful 4-year shlichut in London, UK, as Senior Rabbi of Mill Hill East Jewish Community, and as a teacher, informal educator and chaplain (UJC) at JFS high school. Rav Bentzi was a leading educator for several Tribe summer camps, Shabbatons, and programs, and also taught Talmud at Bet Limmud – a partnership between LSJS and Mizrachi UK.

Rabbi Jesse Horn is a Senior Ram (Rosh Metivta) at Yeshivat Hakotel. He is known for his methodological & Brisker approach to Gemara, his creative shiurim in Tanach, & his warm personality. In his shiurim, he motivates students to rigorously dissect texts, to ask major questions on the sugya at hand, & to intuit the interpretations offered by the Rishonim. Rabbi Horn also teaches at MMY & has taught in other seminaries, such as Shalvim for Women & Midreshet HaRova. Rabbi Horn is the author of Double Take, a book about Biblical personalities, as well as numerous other articles for Beis Yitzhak, Arutz Sheva, World Mizrachi, & other scholarly publications. Rabbi Horn earned a B.A. in Judaic Studies & an M.A. in Jewish Education from Yeshiva University. He received his ordination from Yeshiva University/RIETS.

Rabbi David Milston is Director of the Overseas Program at Midreshet HaRova. Born & raised in London, Rabbi Milston earned a B.A. in Jewish Studies at Jews’ College where he became a talmid “muvhak” of Rabbi Isaac Bernstein zt”l. He studied for several years at Yeshivat Har Etzion under the guidance of Rav Yehuda Amital, zt”l and Rav Aharon Lichtenstein, zt”l, & received semicha from the Chief Rabbinate of Israel. Rabbi Milston has written a number of books, including “The Three Pillars” on Parashat HaShavua, “Ki Va Moed” on the Jewish calendar, and “Eternity” on the Prophets. Most recently, he published the “Shirat David” Haggadah.
